Post A #3

Orientation- an introduction, as to guide one in adjusting to new surroundings, employment, or activity.(pg 55)

Stammered- To speak with involuntary pauses or repetitions. (pg. 61)

A tiny wrench of jealousy twisted up inside of me. (pg.66)

I think that this is a metaphor because it characterizes jealousy as being twisted up when it really cant literally.

Warm air rushes out to grab me... (pg.68)
This is personification because it gives the warm air a human characteristic.

And a few months later, after Hannah and Justin Foley break up, after the rumors begin, Alex writes a list. Who's Hot. Who's Not. But there, at Monet's no one knew where that meeting would lead. (pg. 60)

This is significant because all of the things that Hannah is explaining in the tape leads up to be the reasons why Hannah commits suicide. This one is significant to the book also because a lot of events happen at Monet's.
