Marley and Me

I have never thought of Marley as any kind of role model, but sitting there sipping beer, I was aware that maybe he had the secret for a good life. Never slow down, never look back, live each day with adolescent verve and spunk and curiosity and playfulness. If you think you're still a young pup, then maybe you are, no matter what the calender says. (pg. 189-190)

I think that this really explains how John looks at things in life. This struck me as a really important part of the book because I think that everyone should be told this one time or another in their life.
